Chocolate "New-tella" Spread/Dip

This innovative spread is a wonderful alternative to the sugar-filled chocolate hazelnut spread. Use it as a crepe filling or slathered on whole grain toast or crachers.

Ingredients

  • 1 can white or cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
  • 3 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ⅓ cup dark chocolate chips
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ⅓ cup tahini
  • ¼ teaspoon salt (or ½ teaspoon sea salt)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Drain and rinse beans well. Combine all ingredients in a food processor until completely smooth like brownie batter.
  2. Spread “nutella” on the crepe, add strawberries and fold. Serve.
