Taissa Cherry, MD, Treasurer. For 28 years, Taissa has worked in the Interventional Pain Center at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco as an anesthesiologist and then in neuromodulation for pain syndromes. Currently, she is the Director of Interventional Pain Medicine. Taissa majored in Pharmacology and Molecular Biology at UCSB and went on to study medicine at Emory University, with residencies at University of Utah and UCLA. In her spare time, she enjoys sand volleyball and cooking for her family. She believes that if one begins cooking and eating healthy, whole foods at a young age, many conditions, such as obesity and diabetes can be prevented.
